HIGHLIGHTS OF IGTS 2007

Gujarat Village
Even businessmen need something for the soul. So, alongside the business stalls, there will be a larger, open space called the Gujarat Village. A special area will be created to depict the full culture of Gujarat, to give visitors, especially our youth, a once-in-a-lifetime experience of this way of life which has almost disappeared today. This ‘village’ will contain several stalls exhibiting traditional dresses, jewellery and musical instruments.

Bollywood ‘shah’ – The photo Exhibition
Right from Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Asha Parekh to Paresh Rawal to Jackie Shroff and many more…all of them were caught on camera at the last Photo Exhibition! This year too, the photo exhibition will display snapshots of actors, actress, filmmakers and other artists from the Gujarati community.

International Gujarati Fusion Food Festival
A tex-mex with Gujarati food from around the world
Delicate flavours, subtle aromas, tantalizing tasty food is in short the meaning of Gujarati food. A cuisine that has retained its originality since years. Here is your chance to grab the opportunity to relish some yummy and innovative ways with Gujarati food. Gujarati Dhokla Manchurian, Cheesy Khakras, Olive Khaman with tomato salsa and more…A specially designed menu, exclusively for this event.

IGTS Award Nite
The IGTS Awards Nite 2006 was attended by the who’s who of Gujaratis in their respective fields. Enterprising skills of the community have been established quite clearly and through the very first IGTS awards, Times of India & Expo Vision felicitated the who’s who of the business faction. This year the same tradition continues but on a bigger scale!
