Cleaning oil paint brushes properly is important to keep them in good condition and to maintain their performance. Here are the steps you can follow to clean your oil paint brushes:

1. Wipe off excess paint: Before you start cleaning your brush, wipe off any excess paint on a rag or paper towel.

2. Use solvent: Fill a container with an appropriate solvent, such as odorless mineral spirits or turpentine. Swirl the brush in the solvent for a few seconds to loosen the paint.

3. Repeat: If the brush is still dirty, repeat the process until the solvent is clean.

4. Rinse: After you have removed as much paint as possible with the solvent, rinse the brush with soap and water.

5. Dry: Squeeze the excess water out of the brush and reshape the bristles. Lay the brush flat to dry, making sure that the bristles are not touching each other.

Note: It's important to dispose of the solvent properly, as it can be hazardous to the environment. Follow the guidelines on the container for safe disposal.
